    Police are searching for a gunman they say shot two people at the Penrose Rec Center in North Philadelphia Thursday night. One person is in critical condition, and the teen victim is in stable. NBC10's Deanna Durante reports from the scene.

    Philadelphia police are searching for the suspect in a double shooting at a recreation center in North Philadelphia.

    The shooting happened Thursday night outside the Penrose Rec Center at 12th and Susquehanna Avenue. It's not far from the campus of Temple University.

    Two people are hospitalized after a shooting at a North Philadelphia recreation center. NBC10 Cydney Long spoke to police at the scene.

    Two victims were rushed to the hospital by police on the scene. A 27-year old man is in critical condition. A 16-year boy old is stable.

    Police tell NBC10 the shooter fired at the victims from outside the gate of the rec center. The victims were on the playground.

    Investigators found 14 bullets from two different guns. They believe the shooter was armed with two high-powered handguns and ran off before police arrived.
