Firefighters pulled a driver and his passenger from a car after it smashed into a tree in Gloucester County, New Jersey early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened near the intersection of Greentree Road and Bells Lake Drive in Washington Township around 1:45 a.m., according to officials.
The driver was heading east on Greentree when he lost control and crashed, police said.
Rescuers rushed the victims to Cooper University Hospital in critical condtion.
