Two Arrests in Parking Lot Attendant Beating

Police say tips helped lead them to the two suspects

Philadelphia Police have announced the arrests of two suspects wanted in the beating of a Center City parking lot attendant.

Ronald Moore, 37, of the 6300 block of Reedland Street and Tamika Wilkins 36, of the 550 block of Catherine Street have both been arrested, police said.

The duo is accused of attacking Asrat Mulugeta, 30, at the E-Z Parking lot at 1309 Locust Street on April 4.

Surveillance video from that night shows people talking to Mulugeta before the attack. A woman appeared to spend several minutes inside his booth. The man then attacked Mulugeta with a single blow to the head with a brick, according to police.

On Friday, police released the names and photos of the duo and asked for the public's help to find them. Investigators say those tips helped lead to the arrests.

Moore and Wilkins are now facing charges of aggravated assault, robbery, theft and recklessly endangering another person, among other charges.
