    Turkey Hill recalls some varieties of its ice cream. (Published Monday, Oct 7, 2013)

    Turkey Hill has issued a voluntary recall of three flavors of ice cream because they may have metal shavings mixed in with the dessert.

    Pints of Turkey Hill Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Premium Ice Cream and Moose Tracks Stuff'd Frozen Dairy Dessert and 1.5 quart tubs of Turkey Hill Fudge Ripple Premium Ice Cream are affected, according to the dairy.

    The ice cream was sold after October 1 at Turkey Hill Mini Markets, select Wal-Mart stores and small grocery stores in Pennsylvania.

    A spokesperson for the Lancaster County-based company says there have not been any reports of injuries or containers found with the metal.
