Just before noon on Tuesday, a tractor-trailer crashed off the side of the New Jersey Turnpike near mile marker 17.3 in East Greenwich Township, N.J., according to state police.
That's five miles north of Exit 2.
One lane of traffic was getting by southbound on the turnpike, while authorities worked to control the scene.
Around 2:30 p.m. all lanes were cleared but as of 3:30 the trucks remained off the highway.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
