Storms continue to pound parts of our area Tuesday night and overnight into Wednesday.

NBC10's Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz says thunderstorms will end between 10 p.m. Tuesday night and 2 a.m. Wednesday morning. Wind gusts remain strong, up to 50 miles per hour.

Those strong gusts have knocked down trees and power lines, leading to thousands of outages throughout the NBC10 viewing area.

A Flood Warning is in effect until 10:15 a.m. Wednesday for the Poconos and parts of Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

A Tornado Watch was issued earlier in the day, and ended at 9 p.m.

Earlier this month, tornados ripped through Camden County, N.J. and Kent County in Delaware.

The wet weather will taper off by the morning commute, and the sunshine returns. Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny with cooler temperatures.
