$100K Lawsuit for ‘Top Chef' Winner Over Failed Philadelphia Restaurant

A "Top Chef" winner is being sued over his failed Philadelphia restaurant.

A Lancaster contractor says chef Kevin Sbraga owes $106,000 for kitchen equipment performed on the now-shuttered Juniper Commons.

Clark Food Service Equipment's lawsuit last Friday calls the South Street restaurant an "abject failure." It closed after six months.

Philly.com reports (http://bit.ly/1NGn0gM ) Sbraga referred calls to developer Carl Dranoff. He called the lawsuit a "routine matter" and expects it will be settled.

Sbraga won Bravo's "Top Chef" cooking competition in 2010, impressing judges with his roasted duck dumplings.
