Tony Danza wants to show your kids "Who's the Boss."
Tony Danza’s not a teacher, but he plays one on TV -- well, maybe.
That’s right, the star of sitcoms “Taxi” and “Who’s The Boss?” pitched a reality series to A&E that will show him co-teaching a 10th-grade English class at Northeast High School in Philadelphia.
Tony Danza teaching English? Really?
The reality show -- dubbed “Teach” -- will air 13 episodes if approved by Philadelphia education officials.
Tony’s teaching career is in the hands of The School Reform Commission, who will make a decision next week about allowing the show to air.
Mayor Michael Nutter even wrote a letter to school commissioners backing Danza’s desire to develop young minds, and Tony is already attending new-teacher training to prepare for his new job.
There was no air date for the show assuming it happens.
