The Toms River Office of Emergency Management has issued a voluntary evacuation notice for the town due to Wednesday’s Nor’easter.

Officials believe the storm will mostly affect the Silverton area of the town as well as other low lying areas.

Toms River was already hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. The NBC10 weather team believes tomorrow’s Nor’easter will bring wind, heavy rain and even snow to much of the area.

On Monday, mandatory evacuations were ordered in Brick Township.
