Toddler Saves Grandmother's Life

Calling 911 for an emergency seems like an easy task, but for a 3-year-old to do it is rare. On Friday Jan. 22 Jaden Bolli dialed 911 after his grandmother Patricia Bolli suffered a seizure, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.

"I blacked out. I don't remember anything until I got to the emergency room," Bolli told the Inquirer. She collapsed while babysitting Jaden.

Days before the incident, Jadenโ€™s mother taught him to dial 911 for help in an emergency.  Jadenโ€™s other grandmother was ill that day, which made it necessary for Bolli to babysit Jaden.

After calling 911 Jaden stayed on the phone with the call dispatcher until help arrived and the boy opened the door for the police.

"He definitely doesn't realize that she probably wouldn't have made it if he wouldn't have called," John Bolli, Jadenโ€™s father, told the Inquirer. "But he definitely knows he did good. I don't think he knows how good he did, or how important it was."

Jaden went to Chuck E. Cheeseโ€™s later in the day as a reward from his mother.
