Tires were slashed on three vehicles parked along the 7100 block of Erdrick Street in Tacony early Sunday, according to Philadelphia Police.
This area is about a half a mile away from an area of Mayfair that has been plagued by vandalism in recent months.
A $7500 reward is being offered for information leading to the person or people who have slashed the tires on at least 55 cars in Mayfair over the past three months.
Police say they have no reason to believe Sunday's incident is related to the previous vandalism. Neighbors tell NBC10 they fear a copycat tire slasher may be at work.
