Class Back in Session at Deptford High

Class is back in session at Deptford High School Friday.

Security was tight early Friday following word of an unspecified threat made against the school last week.

The threat came from a note that was found in a cd within the building, according to police.

Thursday, the administration sent a letter home with students.

Authorities checked out the school in the morning prior to classes.

Every person entering the school had to remove their coats and had their bags searched.

Everything is fine, according to Ken Cling, business administrator for the school district.

The Snowball Dance scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday night is still on.

The type of threat as well as the person who made the threat is unknown.

Police will not say whether the threat came from a student.
