3 Teens Shot at McDonald's Over a Girl

Fight that began in school spilled over to McDonald's

A high school fight over a girl led to three teens being shot at a McDonald's.

Shots were fired around 5 p.m. Thursday at the fast-food restaurant along the 3100 block of W. Allegheny Avenue in the city's Strawberry Mansion section, Philadelphia Police said.

One group involved in the fight at school was inside the McDonald's when the other group pulled up to the restaurant in a silver Pontiac Bonneville, police said. Both sides started arguing and as the three teens went to leave, a man inside the Bonneville began shooting.

The bullets hit two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old, and shattered some store windows. The victims were listed in stable condition at a hospital Thursday night.

The man in the car fled the scene. Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey says two people are being questioned.
