Thousands Stolen From Greyhound Terminal

Three armed robbers make off with more than $20,000 from the bus terminal on Filbert Street

Over $20,000 was stolen from the Greyhound bus terminal on Filbert Street early Sunday morning.

Police say three armed robbers approached a 42-year-old supervisor at the terminal shortly before 3 a.m. The supervisor was taken to a caged-in area where she was ordered to page the other employees on duty.

When the other employees arrived, the robbers directed them into the caged-in area before making the supervisor lead them to the terminal's safe. The robbers took about $3,000 from the safe before stealing an additional $18,500 from the counter area.

The suspects fled out of the terminal and were last seen heading east on the 1000 block of Arch Street. No injuries were reported.

The suspects reportedly wore all black clothing, including masks and gloves, and were armed with handguns.
