Phone Thieves Post Pics on Victim's Account: Police

Gloucester Township police released pictures of two suspects that investigators say were snapped using a stolen phone

Apple's iCloud may help catch two thieves after police say they synched pictures of themselves to the victim's account.

The victim tells Gloucester Township police that he thinks he may have left his iPhone sitting on his truck and believed it fell off onto Cross Keys Road on May 3.

He bought a new iPhone thinking his old one was lost.

Then yesterday, he found out someone else not only had his phone, but was using it to take personal pictures that are now on his iCloud account.

The pictures show a man, woman and two kids.

The victim tells police he attempted to contact the suspects using a synched email account, but his emails were ignored.

Police are now releasing the pictures and hope someone will recognize the suspects and give them a call at 856-842-5560. You can also click here to submit an anonymous tip.
