Preparations are being made Friday night ahead of the Red Bull Flugtag along the Camden waterfront.

The Red Bull Flugtag returns to the Delaware River waterfront on Saturday. The gravity-defying competition requires participants to create homemade flying contraptions.

Participants will attempt to "fly" off a 30-foot ramp into the Delaware River to be judged on distance, creativity and showmanship. The first flight will launch at 1 p.m.

More than 70,000 people showed up to watch the Red Bull Flugtag on the Camden Waterfront in 2010.

Judges for this year's event include Preston and Steve from WMMR-FM and DJ/Producer Rich Medina.
