The Wildcats have reason to celebrate this fall. Villanova University is No. 1 -- as it has been for the last two decades.

The Main Line University is ranked as the top school in the North Region/Master’s category by US News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Colleges,” ranking for their academic quality vs. the cost of attending.

“The higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the deal,” according to US News.

In addition, the College of Engineering was ranked No.10 in the nation for having the Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs among colleges whose highest degree is a bachelor’s and master’s degree.

Villanova University has also been recognized  in the “Strong Commitment to Teaching,” “First-Year Experience,” “Learning Communities” and “Highest Graduation Rate” areas of the rankings.
