Who wouldn’t want to spend their first Christmas snuggled up in a Christmas stocking? Well, that’s what the babies born at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh were able to do this holiday season.
Volunteers from UPMC’s Services team hand-knit stockings and red-and-green caps for all the babies who were in the hospital on Christmas Day.
For over several years, nurses at the Pittsburgh hospital have been organizing the event in order to bring Christmas joy to the families who spend their holiday at UPMC with their newborns.
