Terrence Howard Flies His (Clean) Freak Flag in Philly

The actor who tells women how to be "clean" expands hygiene tips to all of Philly

Actor Terrence Howard has been spotted in town, but not at Parc or Village Whiskey where other celebrities like to be seen.

No, no.

Instead, Mr. Howard made an appearance on a Philadelphia billboard, pointing at the public and saying, “You gotta wash your hands!”

Though the exact location of the billboard remains unknown, bestweekever.tv alerted the cyber world to Howard’s visible participation in a public hand-washing campaign.

Anyone well read in Howard’s beliefs on hygiene practices, especially when it comes to women, would understand what a natural spokesman the cleanliness-loving actor is for this cause.

Perhaps it was his interview with Elle Magazine that recommended him for the “washing” campaign. In it, the Plymouth Meeting, Pa. resident described in detail what a woman must do to be “clean” for him in a relationship. Not following his female bathroom etiquette is a deal breaker:

Toilet paper – and no baby wipes – in the bathroom. If they’re using dry paper, they aren’t washing all of themselves. It’s just unclean. So if I go in a woman’s house and see the toilet paper there, I’ll explain this. And if she doesn’t make the adjustment to baby wipes, I’ll know she’s not completely clean,” Howard said.

Much like Howard’s unnecessary female hygiene directive, the hand-washing campaign by Word-OUT! Awareness Foundation follows in its celebrity spokesman’s footsteps with a step-by-step diagram for how to wash your hands, from turning on the water to towel drying.

Sponsored by Jefferson Hospital and part of the Congressional District Programs, the patronizing public service announcement doesn’t stop there. A “renowned composer” wrote a song that really brings it home:

“Fecal matters really matters…You gotta wipe, you gotta wash…When you cut lose Bruce, and you drop that duce, remember son, you gotta wash your hands,” are just a few of the lyrics. “So what you gotta do is lean and do some mean hygiene, if you really want to clean up that back.”

We don't know what to say. It's out of our hands.
