Law Student Struck by a Hit-and-Run Driver

Victim in critical condition

In the first of two hit-and-run incidents this weekend, a Temple Law Student was struck by a fleeing vehicle.

It happened around 2:26 a.m. at 22nd Street and Ben Franklin Parkway.

The student, identified as 24-year-old Tony Foltz, is in critical condition at Hahnemann University Hospital with a fractured skull and internal injuries.

Police are searching for a late 1990s white Ford Escort or Mercury Topaz. The car has front end damage. No description of the driver was available.
