Teens Attack Man at SEPTA Station: Police

A man was hospitalized after police say he was attacked by a group of teens at a SEPTA subway station Monday.

The man was on the platform of the Market-Frankford SEPTA line shortly before 3 p.m. when a group of six to 12 teenagers approached him, police said. At least one of the teens punched the man in the face following an argument, according to officials.

The man was taken to the hospital and treated for concussion-like symptoms.

Police have not yet released a description of the teens. SEPTA officials say they may release surveillance video of the attack on Tuesday.
