A teenage boy is recovering after police say he was stabbed with a screwdriver.
Witnesses told police the 17-year-old boy was involved in a fight with a group of teens at a basketball court in Southwest Philadelphia. During the altercation, officials say the teen was stabbed twice in the back with a screwdriver.
The teen was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made. Police have not yet revealed a description of the suspect.
