Police are investigating a shooting that left a 16-year-old boy in critical condition early Saturday morning.

Investigators say that the boy was shot in the shoulder while inside a home at 2441 South Millick Street in Elmwood shortly after midnight Saturday.

The boy, who has not been identified, was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where his condition is listed as crticial but stable.

Police have not made any arrests in the shooting.
