Police are investigating an accident in Middle Township in which two girls were struck and killed by a vehicle.
It happened just after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday on Bayshore Road, in front of the Middle Township Firehouse, according to officials.
Investigators say the girls were 13 and 15-years-old. A 14-year-old girl was walking with them, but was able to avoid injury, according to police.
Police say the accident was not a hit-and-run and is still being investigated.
