Teen Firefighters Charged With Arson

Two teen firefighters were arrested after they allegedly committed arson.

A fire broke out at an unoccupied home on the 500 block of South Drive in the Tru Vale Acres section of Rehoboth, Delaware.

Investigators say the fire caused $10,000 in damage and was intentionally set.

An investigation led to the arrests of two teenage boys, ages 17 and 16. Police say both teens were junior members of the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company.

Both teens were charged with arson, burglary and conspiracy. They were both committed to the Stevenson House in lieu of a $3500 secured bond.
