Wilmington police say a 16-year-old boy arrested in a stolen car this week is also connected to a recent burglary in the city.
Police say the teenager was taken into custody Thursday after officers found him driving a Nissan Maxima that had been reported stolen days earlier by a woman who said her home had also been burglarized.
Police say that after the teenager was in custody, officers noticed him trying to hide the remote starter for the car, which the woman said had been stolen from her house.
The teenager, whose name has not been released, was taken to the New Castle County Detention Center.
