Stray Bullet Kills Wynnefield Teenager

A teenage woman died Tuesday night in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia. Philadelphia Police say she was an innocent bystander struck by a stray bullet.

The bullet hit the 19-year-old victim in the head just after 9 on the 1700 block of Aberdeen Street, investigators said.

She died a short time later on the scene.

The shooter jumped in white vehicle and fled northbound on Aberdeen Street, police said.
