Swastikas and Racist Slurs Found at Philly Playground

Someone left a disturbing sight at a Philadelphia playground Sunday night.

Racist symbols were found at the Vogt Recreational Center at Charles and Unruh streets in the Mayfair section, according to Philadelphia Police.

Someone spray painted swastikas and racist slurs on the sidewalk.

Authorities are not sure yet when it actually happened.

Residents in the Mayfair neighborhood refused to meet hate with hate. They told NBC 10's Doug Shimell Monday that they won't stoop the same level as the culprits.

The hateful spray paint was power washed by the city's anti-graffiti department on Monday.

Police are investigating the incident.
