Two fires early Monday morning forced three families from their Delaware County homes.
The first fire broke out on the 900 block of Delview Drive around 12:30 a.m. Police say the woman who lives there came home from the Eagles game to find her house gutted. The woman's daughter, her daughter's boyfriend and her granddaughter managed to escape.
Less than an hour later, a fire was reported just blocks away along the 700 block of Taylor Drive. Crews say both fires started under the decks behind the homes.
No one was injured. The Red Cross is assisting nine adults and one child.
"This was arson, I believe so," said Mike Rubilo, a firefighter and neighbor of one of the victims. "This was set. They were set by someone or somebody."
Investigators are calling the fires suspicious.
