Police are searching for a man who they say suspiciously approached an underage girl in Maple Shade.
On the morning of June 3, police say the girl reported to her mother that a man approached her near her home while she was riding a bike. The girl got off her bike and ran first to a neighbor’s house and then to her own home, according to investigators.
The man is described as a medium built Hispanic between 20 to 30 years of age with brown hair and a tan complexion. Police also say he may have tattoos on his knuckles.
The man’s vehicle is described as a white van with three tinted windows in the back, black rims and orange ladder on the roof with a football helmet sticker on the lower left rear door, possibly an Eagles sticker.
Police released a sketch of the man.
