Suspicious Device Found in Man's Yard

A man found the device in his yard and called Philly police

A man in the Logan neighborhood of Philadelphia found a device in his yard that seemed suspicious.

He called police on Thursday afternoon.

The bomb squad went out to his property in the 200 block of West Ruscomb Street and took the device with them to see if it's anything dangerous or worth investigating further.

There is no danger to the neighborhood.

About 25,000 people live in the Logan neighborhood, which spans an area of about 1.6 square miles.

The center of the community, geographically, is the intersection of Broad and Lindley. Hunting Park sits to the south and Olney to the north.
