Suspect Sought in Citizen's Bank Robbery

Suspect considered armed and dangerous: police

Philadelphia police and the FBI are searching for a man accused of robbing a bank Saturday morning in the Northeast section of the city.

Investigators said the robber entered Citizen’s Bank branch on 10650 Bustleton Avenue shortly after 10a.m. and threatened the teller, indicating that he had a gun.

Police say the suspect fled on foot after making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Surveillance pictures released by Philadelphia police show the robber was wearing a black baseball ball cap with a Phillies “P” on the front, black hooded jacket and dark jeans.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000.
