Montgomery County authorities say an arrest warrant has been issued in the death of a Philadelphia man shot and killed as he was wrapping gifts early on Christmas Day in Cheltenham Township.

According to authorities, 25-year-old Robens Borno of Philadelphia was sitting at the dining room table of a Cheltenham Township home with his girlfriend and her mother wrapping Christmas gifts when two men came in just before 2 a.m. Sunday and one of them shot Borno several times.

Borno died about a half-hour later at Einstein Medical Center.

Authorities said the man identified by witnesses as the shooter, 24-year-old Rayshon Carwheel of Philadelphia, is a former boyfriend of the younger woman. He has been charged with first- and third-degree murder, weapons offenses and recklessly endangering another person.
