Suspect Arrested in Deadly NJ Hit and Run

The man that allegedly killed a woman in October was arrested Monday.

Last week Deanna Durante brought you the story of a family searching for the man that struck and killed Vanessa Tomlin in October and on Monday, the accused man was found and arrested.

According to police, Kenney Bellegarde, 21, was arrested at his house on Hollis Street in Philadelphia Monday morning.

He is charged with vehicular homicide.

The 21-year-old is accused of jumping lanes and colliding into a car head-on on Route 30 in Camden County, seriously injuring the driver, Vanessa's aunt, Amanda Lewis, and killing 22-year-old Vanessa.

Police say Bellegarde was drunk at the time of the accident.
