A home in a quiet suburban community was robbed while the owners were inside.

Police say at least one burglar entered the house on the 100 block of Lowry's Lane in Bryn Mawr through an unsecured back door some time before 1 a.m. on Jan. 1.

The resident went to the first-floor after the family's dog began barking and discovered cash and electronic devices were missing, according to officials.

Auhorities say change was also taken from the passenger's compartment of the homeowner's unlocked vehicle.

The Radnor Township Police Department is asking anyone with information on the crime to contact its Detective Bureau at 610-668-0503.
