Helicopter Lift Prompted Center City Closures, SEPTA Detours

EDITOR'S NOTE: Streets were reopened shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday.

Helicopters lifting heavy equipment triggered a series of street closures and public transit changes Sunday in Center City.

The intermittent closures went into effect at 4 a.m. and ended at 3 p.m. SEPTA announced detours to several of its bus lines.
