Burn Victim Surrenders to Face Vehicular Homicide Charges in Fiery Wreck That Killed 3

Using a walker, wearing a neck brace and trying to conceal his badly burned face, a man surrendered in the Lehigh Valley Wednesday to face vehicular homicide charges stemming from a suspected DUI crash where a car slammed into three parked vehicles and burst into flames, killing three people inside.

Bethlehem Township police said the crash happened shortly after 1:20 a.m. on May 6 along Willow Park Road when Terrell Barclay lost control of his car, which crashed into a row of parked vehicles and burst into flames killing 29-year-old Ashlee Mosher, 26-year-old Amanda Martin and 28-year-old Joshua Edwards.

Barclay was able to run from the car, said police. [[378473651, C]]

Police said Barclay had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit. He was hospitalized and later transferred to a rehabilitation center, which he left before charges were filed.

Police said they had reports of a car driving at a high rate of speed in the area shortly before the crash.

Barclay, 28, has a history of arrests including past charges of drug possession, firearm violations and driving under the influence, according to court records.

After being arraigned Wednesday on three felony counts of homicide by vehicle, driving while intoxicated on drugs and alcohol and other various other counts, Barclay -- whose latest address is listed in Orange, New Jersey -- was sent to Northampton County jail, unable to post $250,000 bail, said court records.
