Social Worker Has Sexual Contact With Student: Pros.

A social worker at a South Jersey high school was arrested due to what prosecutors say was an inappropriate relationship with a male student.

Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk and Gloucester Township Police Chief Harry Earle announced Wednesday the arrest of Highland Regional High School social worker Anthony Williams.

The alleged incident(s) didn't happen at the school on Erial Road in Blackwood. Williams, 52, of the 1200 block of Little Gloucester Road in Clementon, N.J. is accused of engaging  in inappropriate sexual activity with a teenager at the teen’s home.

Police didn’t reveal the age of the teenage boy.

Williams was charged Tuesday with third-degree child endangerment and fourth-degree sexual misconduct. Highland High suspended Williams pending the outcome of the legal investigation.

Williams posted bail and was released Tuesday night.
