Northeast Philly soccer coach pleads guilty to child sex charges

Northeast Philadelphia volunteer girls soccer coach Vincent Mickel, 34, pleaded guilty Tuesday to numerous sexual offenses, that occurred over the past four years, reports the Philadelphia Daily News.

After contacting at least six girls ages 14 to 16 through Facebook and MySpace, Mickel exchanged inappropriate pictures with some of the girls, gave them alcohol, asked for sex from multiple girls and had sex with one 16-year-old girl, reports the Daily News.

Mickel pleaded guilty to statutory sexual assault and 15 counts of possession of child pornography, among other offenses, reports the Daily News.

When sentenced on Sept. 19, Mickel could be sent to prison for up to 265 years.
