Shoe prints in snow helped police outside Philadelphia catch a pair of burglary suspects they've been calling a suburban Bonnie and Clyde.
Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood tells the Philadelphia Daily News the snow became a key tool in Saturday's arrests of Stephen Dolceamore and his girlfriend Kelly Wilkinson.
The 24-year-old Dolceamore is charged with burglary and other offenses. He's jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail and couldn't be reached for comment.
The 25-year-old Wilkinson is charged with receiving stolen property, conspiracy and other offenses. She's jailed in lieu of $2,000 bail.
Chitwood says officers caught Dolceamore loitering outside a home and tracked his shoe prints to 8-10 more homes and a car where Wilkinson sat with stolen goods.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 4.
