The five-month-old cubs made their first appearance at the Philadelphia Zoo on Thursday.

The Philadelphia Zoo's two snow leopard cubs have made their debut.

The 5-month-old cubs Kimti and Dian and made their first appearance Thursday. They are the first snow leopards to be bred at the zoo.

Kimti and Dian each needed surgery to correct problems with their eyes over the summer but both have recovered just fine.

Snow leopards are endangered. Experts say there are fewer than 5,000 in the wild.
