The Middle Township Police Department had had their hands full investigating several thefts from Nativity scenes in recent days.

The baby Jesus was snatched from a nativity scene from a location on Secluded Lane in Rio Grande, N.J. on December 20, according to police.

On Tuesday three more incidents were reported to police:

The baby Jesus was swiped from Cynwyd Drive in Cape May Court House and Teal Road in Rio Grande.

The Baby Jesus was the only target taken in these cases -- the same can't be said for another Cape May Courthouse theft.

A nativity scene was vandalized on Pine Forrest Court in CMCH. Every piece of this nativity scene was taken except for the cradle that was smashed and left behind.

Middle Twp. Police are asking for the public's help in solving these thefts. Anyone with info should call the police department at (609) 465-8700.
