A woman walking her dog may have uncovered a key piece of evidence in an attempted abduction of a Garnet Valley Middle School Student, according to Bethlehem Township police.

Investigators said the woman spotted a black ski mask while walking her dog along Trotter's Lea Lane in Bethel Township and notified police. The mask matches the description of one worn by a man who tried to abduct the 13-year-old November 10th.

Officials said photos were taken of the mask and it is being sent to FBI headquarters in Quantico for processing.

The FBI is assisting due to the nature and location of the case.  Since the sketch of the man was released last week, police said they received numerous tips, and anyone with further details should call police at 610-558-0929.
