A former northwestern Pennsylvania high school teacher faces a likely sentence of 32 years in federal prison for producing child pornography featuring two boys he knew.
Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy in Erie immediately fired 44-year-old David Montgomery after his guilty plea in November. Prosecutors and Montgomery's attorney have agreed on the sentence, though it must still be approved by a federal judge in Erie on Monday.
The charges do not involve boys at the school.
Montgomery was previously cleared of molesting three boys whose family he knew.
But publicity from that case prompted a boy, born in 1995, to come forward last April accusing Montgomery of molesting him repeatedly from age 8 to 15. Authorities searched Montgomery's home and found pornography featuring that boy and another boy, who was born in 2002.
