Man in Critical After Gunman Shoots Him in the Back

A man is fighting for his life after he was shot in the back in Philadelphia.

The 50-year-old man was on the 100 block of Linton Street at 6:49 p.m. Thursday when an unidentified gunman opened fire before fleeing the scene.

The victim was struck once in the back. He was taken to the Albert Einstein Hospital where he is currently in critical condition. No weapons have been recovered and no arrests have been made.
