A woman is accused of attempted homicide after allegedly opening fire on her former companion as the couple’s children watched.
Middletown Police say that a 41-year-old Media, Pa. woman fired several shots at a 49-year-old Wynnewood, Pa. woman as she sat inside a car a little before 7 Monday night.
The shooting happened during a custody exchange between the former companions, according to police.
An 11-year-old boy was in the front passenger seat and a 9-year-old girl was just outside the car when the older woman allegedly fired through the windshield.
The victim was able to drive herself to the hospital where she was being treated.
No word was given if either of the children were hit.
No identities were given for any of the people involved.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
