Sheep Shot With Arrow Wanders Lehigh Co

A woman saw the sheep on her property with an arrow sticking out of its side.

A Pennsylvania woman is hoping for some help as she tries to corral a sheep seen lost in the woods that has apparently been hit with an arrow.

Sue Foster tells The Morning Call of Allentown that she first saw the black-and-white Jacob's sheep less than two weeks ago wandering near a duck pen on her property in Lehigh County.

She saw an arrow sticking out of its side but it ambled off into the woods before she could capture it, the paper reported on Friday.

Now, Foster is leaving food out for the animal, but hopeful that she can capture the creature with the help of an experienced sheep handler as early as Friday.

If the ewe, named Nadia, is captured, it'll be taken to a veterinarian for treatment.
