    We're in for more wind and cooler temperatures on Wednesday. Glenn has the details. (Published Wednesday, April 23, 2014)

    A severe thunderstorm warning has been lifted after storms with heavy rain and wind moved through the area.

    The National Weather Service issued the warning for Philadelphia, the North and West suburbs and parts of South Jersey shortly before 8 p.m. The warning was lifted at 8:30 p.m. According to the Weather Service, the storms produced winds that were capable of reaching over 60 mph.

    Residents were warned to seek shelter immediately inside sturdy structures and to stay away from windows.
