Service Dog Found After Going Missing in Pa.

A local service dog is back on the job this afternoon after going missing in Wyomissing, Pa. earlier this week.

Finley the dog was found this morning about four blocks from the Vista Drive command center set up by Amazing Tails, an Oxford, Pa.-based service dog training group that had placed Finley with his owner.

An alert dog owner spotted Finley standing with her own dog outside her home. She managed to coax Finley into her garage where she gave the animal water while she contacted Amazing Tails, the groups said.

The dog appeared to be in good health and was reunited with its partner.

Finley, a 65- to 70-pound Golden Retriever, was separated from its owner Tuesday night when the owner required hospitalization. Finley was last spotted Wednesday in the Oak Hill subdivision of Wyomissing before showing up today, according to Amazing Tails.
