Comcast is putting power strips out in 22 payment center locations so folks can recharge their mobile devices free as the region recovers from Hurricane Sandy.
The company is also opening up its Xfinity WiFi hotspots to anyone who needs them, including non-Comcast users. To locate a hotspot, non-Xfinity Internet users can search for the "xfinitywifi" network name and clock on the "Not a Comcast subscriber" llin at the bottom of the Sign-In page. Then select the "Complimentary Trial Session" option from the drop down list. Users can renew their complimentary sessions every two hours through Wednesday, Nov. 7.
